What is the definition of "Mama Bear"?

 The term "mama bear" often refers to a mother who is extremely protective of her children or loved ones. It can be used to describe both human mothers and animal mothers. The term captures the fierce, protective nature that many mothers display when they believe their children are in danger or threatened.
